Summer 2007 Build
The owners of a house in South Wales wanted a conservatory but were concerned it would look 'bolted on'. Our solution used glass walls to maximise light together with a part solid roof, successfully blending the old with the new.
The inclusion of a lantern roof in the orangery which leads directly to the garden room presented several challenges. The orangery fascia was built into the existing roof and the existing slates and bricks were carefully matched and sourced.
In the garden room the exposed colour co-ordinated rafters and ceiling make a dramatic impact and the inclusion of a glazed gable in the roof compliments the existing details on the house.
Our customer commented:
"Our conservatory has completely transformed the way we use our garden".
