Conservatory - Worcestershire
Winter 2005 Build
A customer in Worcestershire wanted to create something out of the ordinary. Our interpretation of an ambitious brief was a series of exciting new structures. The result is in keeping with the original property, but presents an instant impact.
Whilst the addition of an orangery with lantern roof was traditionally constructed, the glazed atrium leading to the striking octagonal conservatory was a challenge we are proud of. The final result was to support the raised construction on steel supports that are clad in traditional lead. Full height panels to compliment the orangery doors were used for the atrium and conservatory and to complete the look, lighting was introduced around the perimeter for both constructions.
This ambitious project was completed in just seven months from the signing of the contract to practical completion including full planning and building regulation applications by David Salisbury.
Our customer remarked:
"The conservatory has made a complete difference to our lifestyle by bringing the garden into our home".
