Matthew Flamencourt David Salisbury Production Director “Orangeries count for
half our orders” Created 25 years ago and located in the South-West of England
(Somerset), David Salisbury are recognised for their craft in the making of
conservatories, orangeries and garden rooms. The range of products uses exotic
hard woods, selected for their lasting and highly mechanical properties. The
designs are made in an ultra-modern factory with machining benches, a skilled
workforce and digital robots. Inspired from aero space techniques, the very
automatic process guarantees a custom made manufacture of unique precision.
The amazing all-rounded David Salisbury's company now counts 92 employees and
intervenes just as much in England as in the United-States and in France thanks
to various partnerships. The company turns around about 300 conservatories a
year, each with a unique design and adapted to every customer's aspirations
and every property's style. “Four years ago, we turned around 80% conservatories
and 20% orangeries, states David Salisbury. Today, the orangeries count for
half our orders. They have become very “in” both in England and over the Atlantic.”
Matthew Flamencourt, production director doesn't see this success as just luck:
“our construction system has a set of standard components that make it possible
to create very personalised models. Our strength is to be able to design conservatories
of very complex architectural structures.
